Private beta · iOS app on TestFlight

Read every filing. Miss no signal.

SignalFiling watches SEC EDGAR for the companies you follow, turns each 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K into a plain-language summary, and records the forensic signals that matter, with the passage that triggered each one.

What it is

A filing feed, a reader that never skims, and a ledger you can query.

Filing feed

Every new filing for your watchlist, pulled from EDGAR within hours of acceptance. 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, 20-F and more, resolved to the primary document.

LLM analysis

Each filing is cleaned, read in full and summarised. Signals are detected against a fixed taxonomy and rubric, so results are comparable across companies and years.

Signal ledger + search

Signals live in a ledger with dedup and supersession per company and category. Search the corpus in plain English, or ask a question and get an answer with citations.

How it works

From acceptance on EDGAR to a signal in your feed, without a human reading in between.

01

Ingest

EDGAR submissions are polled for every company on your watchlist. New accession numbers are queued within hours.

02

Extract

The primary document is resolved by form type and converted to clean text, iXBRL aware, exhibits included where they matter.

03

Analyse

A model writes the summary and records each signal with category, severity and the evidence passage.

04

Alert

New signals reach you in the app, a daily digest, or a signed webhook to your own systems.

Signals

Specific categories, one fixed rubric.

Every signal carries a category from this list, a severity and the passage that triggered it. Nothing is inferred from price or sentiment; it comes from the filing text.

Going-concern language

Substantial-doubt paragraphs and management plans to address them.

high

Restatements

Non-reliance notices, restated periods and the accounts affected.

high

Auditor changes

Dismissals, resignations and any disagreements or reportable events.

high

Related-party transactions

New or expanded dealings with insiders and affiliates.

medium

Executive departures

CEO, CFO, CAO and director exits, with or without a stated reason.

medium

Covenant breaches

Defaults, waivers and amendments to debt agreements.

high

Impairment

Goodwill and asset write-downs and the triggering events behind them.

medium

Litigation

Material proceedings, investigations and regulatory actions.

medium

Insider activity

Unusual 10b5-1 changes and clustered transactions.

low

Liquidity stress

Cash, credit and working-capital language that precedes going-concern doubt.

For developers

The same signals, as an API and a webhook.

API access opens with the public launch. Beta testers who need it earlier can ask in the access request.

  • REST API over the whole corpus: companies, filings, summaries, signals.
  • API keys per integration, with per-minute and per-day quotas you can see.
  • Webhooks for signal.created, HMAC-signed so you can verify every delivery.
  • Natural-language search and question answering with citations, from the same endpoints the app uses.
